The fan zone is in the centre in the two main adjoining squares, Grand Place/Place Charles de Gaulle and Place du Théâtre. There was a great atmosphere there, in the sun, for the Scotland game last Saturday. There are various bars dotted around the square and then along Rue des Manneliers/Place Rihour. Plus information desks, photo opportunities. All pedestrianised. It’s about a three-minute walk from Gare Lille-Flandres. If you arrive in Lille before Friday, don’t panic! There is a fan zone, but they assemble and disassemble it for each game. The photo shows the one by the theatre, on a wet day before the England v. Chile game.
